On the campaign trail, Donald J. Trump promised to fix the price of groceries. Swing voters put him back in the White House with a clear mandate: fix the cost of living.

What's Happening on Trump's Watch (while he's not fixing egg prices?)

24 Events of Note

Donald Trump seems to be able to find time to do everything but address the cost of living crisis.

To reclaim the presidency, Donald Trump made numerous campaign trail promises promises to fix the cost of living crisis. So far, he's been silent and taken no action to fulfill a single economic policy that would benefit working Americans.

Rather, he's used Project 2025 to distract us from his lack of action on the economy. It's a win-win for right-wing extremists — they get their wildly unpopular agenda implemented and Donald Trump enjoys the limelight of the presidency while using the office of president to enrich himself, all while we can't afford to buy eggs.

President Donald Trump must quit scapegoating minority groups and using Executive Orders to distract us from his lack of progress on fixing the cost of living crisis.

8 Should-Be Scandals of Note

Was it Ever About Us? No. For Donald Trump It's About Helping the Rich Get Richer.

With his plans to implement the worst policies of Project 2025 tied up in the courts, Donald Trump and Elon Musk have turned to dismantling the regulators that oversee their businesses. Using the guise of "government efficiency" the two billionaires have made sure that they can do as they please without any pesky regulators keeping them in check.

Trump and Musk haven't forgotten about their billionaire friends, either. What we're seeing goes way beyond a typical Republican "pro-business" administration with Trump using the Office of the President to weaken regulations that benefit his friends and political donors and hand out lucrative government contracts to his buddies.

Donald Trump ran on a populist message promising to lower the price of groceries and bring good-paying jobs back to the middle class. Instead of fulfilling his populist promises, Donald Trump is rewarding the Wall Street donors. Demand Donald Trump keep the promises he made to us on the campaign trail!

Help Us Reach People Who Don't Think About Politics

A healthy democracy depends not just on participation, but on an informed and critically engaged citizenry. As James Madison warned, a government without an informed public is a prelude to tragedy, and history has proven that ignorance creates fertile ground for authoritarianism. A free society is only as strong as its ability to discern truth from deception, a principle echoed by George Orwell and Carl Sagan, who recognized that control over information is often the first step toward control over people. Education, skepticism, and open inquiry are not luxuries; they are the guardrails that keep self-governance from veering into tyranny. When citizens are empowered with knowledge and the means to question authority, democracy is not just preserved—it thrives.

Today, the United States is at a critical crossroads. We can continue striving for the lofty goals the founders articulated in the Declaration of Independence, or we can slide into authoritarianism. While 77 million Americans voted for Donald Trump, 90 million voting-eligible Americans stayed home and did not vote in 2024. The insanity of Project 2025, the chaos of Elon Musk's DOGE, and the ham-handed Executive Orders from Trump are not what Americans signed up for and are an affront to our values. All of this has been made possible because millions of Americans are uninformed. This website is for anyone who voted for Trump because they didn't like the Biden economy or believed that Trump would fix the cost of living crisis. He hasn't. He won't.

Share this website with those who don't pay attention to politics or the news! The only way to get the United States back on track is if we have an informed and critically engaged citizenry.
